The Classic Round cut is one of the most chosen cuts for gemstones, as it has excellent processing and wearing characteristics, while leaving room for creative jewelry designs. There are numerous facet variations, but the classic faceting is particularly popular, with many small diamond-shaped facets placed on the crown and pavilion of the stone, contributing to a warm brilliance. A cooler, but more intense light reflection, on the other hand, is created by the brilliant cut. Here, elongated, ray-shaped facets are located on the deeper pavilion, while triangular and square facets are found on the crown next to the table.
